It was on Friday morning we departed from Bangalore to Chandigarh. It was quick pic in the airport and we were fully excited for the adventure.

Day 1 - Chandigarh to Narkhanda

We met Dev and Nikita in Chandigarh who travelled to this ride from Mumbai. It was great luck for us and it was only 4 of us for this ride. This gave us completed flexibility during the entire course of journey. On the first day in Chandigarh, we decided to have some good chats, it was one of the best chats I have had.

The next day we started our ride to Narkhanda via Shimla. once we touched Himachal Pradesh, it was completely beautiful scenic mountains. It was good ride on Day 1 and we reached Narkhanda around 4.00PM, refreshed ourself and went to visit Hattu peak.

Day 2 : Narkanda to Karcham Dam to Sangla

This was one of the best routes which had beautiful curvy roads and death valleys roads. We started around 9.00AM and we started riding towards Sangla and within 10 minutes, OMG it was amazing curvy roads with very good roads. I could not resist my adrenaline and started ripping in the curves, trust me guys and it was one of the best roads I had rode. It was experience on its own.

After this, the landscape completely changed with off roads and deep valley which gave us a different kind of experience. We really loved riding in those roads and finally reached Sangla around 3.00PM. We were welcomed with beautiful mountain landscapes. It was marvelous !!

It's Just WOW !!

No Words to describe the beauty of these mountains !!

Day 3 : Sangla to Chitkul to Kalpa

It was a beautiful ride to last village of India which is Chitkul and we reached around 10.30AM. Spent some good amount of time visiting Temples, Post Office and other scenic places.

Post this we started our ride to Kalpa which is one of the terrific routes and I call the road as DEATH VALLEY ROAD. It was deep valleys and narrow roads, riding through them was experience on its own. On the way we had to cross the the roads through rocky mountains which was another experience on its own. Finally we reached kalpa around 3.30PM. Then we visited a suicide point in Kinnaur

Day 4: Kalpa to Pooh to Nako to Tabo

This was the day to remember. We started from kalpa around 7.00AM as we had a long road to cover. As we stared riding towards Pooh around 10.00AM we were stuck with Landslide and we could not move further. We waited for the Army to clear the landslides and by the time it was cleared it was around 2.00PM. Thanking the Army, we rode to Nako lake which was a small beautiful lake. Then started riding towards Tabo and we encountered another Landslide around 5.00PM. We were stuck because there was landslide ahead and another landslide happened in the same place which we crossed.

So we could not move further or go back and we were stuck. We thought it's gonna be adventurous night and we started getting ready to stay in the van. Finally Army came and cleared the landslide around 10.00PM. We started riding to Tabo at 10.00PM it was scariest ride. Riding on these roads with deep valleys and in midnight was life time ride.

Overall it was a extreme adventurous day.

Day 5 : Tabo to Kaza to Komic to Hikkim to Langza to Kaza

This was the day we explored many places surrounding SPITI like komic, Hikkim and Lanza.. This was the dry mountains with very dusty and slippery roads. We rode to Komic village first and reached around 11.00AM, thereafter we started riding to Hikkim. The beauty of this road is, we were riding on the top of the mountains with winds hitting us at very high speeds. We reached Hikkim and visited the worlds Highest post Office. Then we rode to Lanza where we visited Lord buddha statues.

Day 6 : Kaza to Kunzum La Pass to Chandrataal Lake

We started our ride from Spiti at 7.00AM and we started riding towards Chandrataal. Chandrataal is a beautiful lake which is open only 4-5 months in a year as weather is very cold. We reached chandrataal around 3.00PM and we camped in a tent. We went to the lake and went around the lake walking 4.5kms which was beautiful experience. The night was freezing cold and we were wearing 2 sweaters and blanket, still could not bear the cold. Luckily Old Monk helped us :)

Chandrataal is mesmerizing beauty one should visit.

Day 7 : Chandrataal to Manali via Atal Tunnel

It was the final day of our ride. we started early at 7.00AM and we road through some valleys which are beautiful in a different way. The Landscape changed completely come dry mountains to beautiful green mountains. We were riding slowly and reached ATAL tunnel around 11.00AM. Atal tunnel was engineering marvel, crossed the same and reached Manali around 4.00PM
